More about the Gadfly Project

Below is an embedded video of the press conference that was held on Wednesday August 6, 2008 for The Gadfly project which unfolded in Beijing China on August 5. In this event he brought attention to the plight of Chinese People of all faiths and also highlighted the increasing human rights deficiencies in China. He achieved this protest by creating artistic graffiti murals on the walls of two hotel rooms. He also made 2 effigies to illustrate those who have been effectively silenced by the Peoples Republic of China. Visit Exodus8one as he is still on the loose in China.

Wow. Pastor Eddy has heart, but I tend to agree with AllenJS. I also tend to be predjudice. I don't like seeing "missionaries" of any sort, going overseas. There is enough to do right here. All the time and resources Pastor Eddy has spent in China, could have been well spent in La Puente! Pastor Eddy, you were in La Puente! You were there. Why did you go all the way to China to "serve God"? You could have holed-up in any given dive on Valley Blvd. and painted anti-Patriot Act slogans or any number of messages against impending tyrany right here in the USA. You get back here Pastor Eddy. We need your heart, but you need a priority check. Don't turn yourself in.

Anonymous,
I'm sure Pastor Eddy values your concern and the love behind it. I hope he makes it back safe, too.

It's hard to say what the end result of this mission will be, since it isn't over yet.

But I am confident Pastor Eddy would truly appreciate your prayers, especially while he is still in the middle of this.

Thank you for stopping by and voicing your concerns.

Blessings,
Merrie
